I'm sorry you've not had better luck, but don't give up. I've had everything from 11 out of 13 to zero out of 18 with shipped eggs. I have come to the conclusion that some breeds of eggs just ship better than others. Any breed that has blue in their name...BLRWs, BBS orps, BBS wyandottes & Rocks have been the most challenging to hatch for me. It took probably close to 60 BBS Wyandotte eggs(3 seperate shipments) to get my start of 9 birds. The orps were probably even worse. The Blue laced red wyandottes were probably the best, but it still took many shipments from different people to get my start. I don't even want to figure out how much money I've spent on shipped eggs!!
