One of our guineas that had been missing for a while showed up yeasterday with two babies, which probably means she left the nest before most of her eggs completely hatched. That's not the worst part though. Now the male guinea periodically decides to peck the babies, even picking them up in his mouth! He's already killed one of them! I've tried to catch the last one to put under a broody hen I have, but I keep getting flogged by that stupid male. I love guineas but these birds are idiots!
