I'm so tired of losing!

I have one of those MIL's. I kill her with kindness at least once a week. Over for dinner where she don't lift a finger. She has come around after 21 years! Well I didn't say it was an instant fix!!!!!!!

bantie, so glad there was a reason for his reversal! That's awesome. Anyway, you don't have to be a builder to build coops! I built 2, with a little bit of help, but they don't have to be perfect! As long as they are safe for the chickens and people you are good to go! Wish I could help yas!

I agree- your coop doesn't have to be perfect or even "pretty." Those cute little coops with shingles and flowerboxes and siding are nice to look at, but guess what? My wonky, made-out-of-scraps, painted-several-different-colors-because-that's-what-we-had-laying-around coop works very, very well. Maybe better, even, than some of the pretty (and pretty ridiculously expensive) pre-fab coops you can order. Your husband is used to working with his hands, and you have to have a good eye to be a welder, so he will do just fine!

Knowing my hubby, he'll make it at least semi pretty, lol! But that's ok. We'll get it up and going in no time I'm sure. I just have to wait for his schedual to clear up enough to get started. (

like that's going to happen easily) He's very good at doing what he does, so he's become very popular with the locals, and doesn't say no to projects easily. Oh, well. I'll get him to stop and get started before fall comes for sure, lol! I'm still working on the last of my funds anyway, at this point (selling off all my old Breyer horses).

Thank you everyone for your concern, and wonderful words of kindness. I think caspernc has a good point, there. I'll try this some time if I can. Although it might be something like this in the end

, lol!
