I'm writing the breeds on my eggs

im writing the breeds of the chickens on my eggs do I wright on the pointy end or the other one

Maybe the small end if you are intending to candle them as if you write in Sharpie or similar that might get in the way of the light. But it's up to you really and if you use pencil it won't matter.

How will you keep them separate in the incubator as when they all start hatching it could get confusing. I've separated eggs into different containers within the incubator before to keep chicks separate when they hatch.

Oh that's a good idea I never thought of that the plastic won't melt right but mine look different I just wanted to know because the eggs look different and I want to remember what will be hatching out but I might do that

I usually hatch Button quail and they are so tiny (and incredibly active) I have to put the eggs in tall containers to keep the hatching chicks contained or they'll fall into the water wells. I've never had a problem with the plastic. I've used foil trays before as well or you could use baskets if you can find the right size and shape.

yeah it is this will be my second hatch ever

Pointy end.
Chicks pip and zip the big end and can easily zip through what you write if you write on big end making it hard to decifer.
Even if you write on the big end and they zip around what you wrote its easier to keep track of the main part of the egg then rounding up the smaller zipped off pieces which sometimes get inside the other piece and stick which can break them trying to get unstuck to read.

You wanna write with a pencil when doing this. This is my second hatch going on now an I just wrote it on the side I also use it as a marker when turning my eggs.
