Immune Health

I've read on this site in various places that people provide probiotics and electrolytes during times of extreme heat or stress. We have done the same on a periodic basis, never more than a day or two at most. Rather than relying on FB or general amazon searches, you might consider purchasing products from a reputable bird supplier such as Jedds.com

For accurate information, I like to do searches on .edu or .gov sites (depending upon the topic.)

I searched on < poultry electrolytes in heat site:.edu > and found this from the Minnesota Extension service. Thorough and based on peer-reviewed studies. It lists what ingredients you should look for:

https://extension.umn.edu/poultry-care-and-management/preventing-heat-stress-poultry

Be sure to have at least one source of clean plain water as an alternative to the electrolytes. Only give electrolytes for three straight days before a break.

Good suggestion and thank you for this link.

When would you use this product 🤔🤔

Never. It's a scam.
If you want to improve your chickens immune system, invest in fresh fruit and vegetables, molasses, and organ meat like beef liver.
For omega 3, invest in whole flaxseed and hemp seed, and let them free range if you can.
