Impeyan Qs

As long as you have some experience and feel you want to raise them, you should be okay. They do need more space them goldens and amherst.Mine are in a 6x12 and they seem to do fine, but really should have more space.Keep in mind, they are egg eaters. They lay every 3rd day at approximetly and the same time.So if they lay their 1st egg mon,go out thur and wait,if they are comfortable with you,she will lay the egg while you are watching. They usually dig a deep hole, but give them a hanging basket, she may chose it instead of the ground.
In N.H.,Tony.

Agree with Tony, except I havent had any egg eating in mine. Keep in mind that impeyans dig a lot. Not a bad idea to have them on ground that's sandy and well drained if ya can. Gorgeous pheasants!

Aldren90 since you live in Fl they need lots of shade and/or misters. I had them but lost mine to west nile. When I raise them again I will have screen around the pen also. To me the most beautiful birds in the world.

Like junglefowl said, worming is a good idea for impeyans cause theyre digging in the ground all the time, but ive found it best to give worming medication at least 30 days before egg laying is expected... they can be kept pens of a variety of sizes but larger pens are of course better for them
