Importing eggs?

Hi just wondering if anyone knows it’s if it’s possible/allowed for me to get hatching eggs from the US as I live in the UK??

I'm no expert on this, but I have done some of research on it...
There are very few hatcheries that will import them, but the ones that do look to be pretty pricey, and hatching rates are reduced as eggs are shipped. So I think it's what you can find and what you're willing to pay.
