Imprinting on chicks?

Hello, I’ve heard many stories of people imprinting on ducklings, but not on chicks... is it possible? Has anyone had success with it? If anyone knows how they did it, I would be grateful for tips!

I have never had a brood of chicks follow me like ducklings do, ......but when I grab their box of dried fly grubs, my flock rushes towards me and follows me around. They definitely learn who feeds them! ❤

My Barred Rock imprinted on me as a chick. She would run around the house following me. I would say just spend lots of time with them while they're young. Good luck!

Thank you! Do you think letting your chick come with you to homework or watching a movie, just taking her everywhere would help? And is it easier to choose one or two chicks to imprint on, or the whole flock?

For sure! The more time you spend with them the better. Make sure you talk to them s o they can hear your voice. I would just do one or two, so that way you can give them special attention.
