In Colorado help!!!

Just rescued an abandoned chicken, not sure about the city ordinances in denver Colorado. Also should chickens be in pairs? Help

chickens are social animals but if you keep it as a pet then it should be just fine. You, cat, dog, anything living can be it's companion. I'm not sure on the ordinances though. Good luck!
