In Feathered Heaven!

Hello! I'm so happy to be here and to meet you! I just joined here but have read so many of the conversations/threads that I'm a little worried. Either I'll become over confident or (worse!) I'll think I know nothing!
I live in the Pacific Northwest with my husband, 4 funny, small rescued dogs, 1 sweet, marmalade cat, and now... 7 little ladies of the feathered variety!
I have a Wyandotte, 3 Sex-linked, and 3 Brown Tetra. The little ladies are residing in a wonderful set-up in, yes... my family room! My DH thinks it's perfect, as apparently, they watch tv together.
As for me, I quilt and sew, and have a larger garden in the works for this year. I'm planning on my ladies to assist me in the garden but will fix it so that I will be in charge, not them! I am planning to make my girls happy so any help from all of you with your tried-and-true methods, will be greatly appreciated!

If you would like to share Pictures and Stories of your flock or fur babies, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out

Including your general location on your profile will assist others. Location, climate, season etc can be important factors when members are responding to any questions you may have and vice versa.
