in lockdown and humidity is going up?

Hi,

Temp steady at 100......humidity is close to 75.have not added water.......had been 65
Day 21 for lockdown.have lg still air.
Had a big weather change today...from rain to 77
Any ideas or how to get humidity down.

ok and you dont have any water or sponges in, right?

I'm still a newbie and just set my first eggs, but I have done alot of hatches with a good friend who uses LG's also - the last batch of BO's, the humidity shot up to 75, 80 and close to 85 a couple of times on day 20 and 21 - and had a 100% hatch rate. He tells me the chicks themselves cause the humidity swings. Says the same thing happens under a broody.

I do have sponges in.....
Can pull one of them if this does not correct itself or continues to climb.
A classic case of two minds are better than one.
