My new Bosch mixer arrived today and it took me all of 15 minutes to have it out and have a batch of bread going. I love this mixer!!!!!!!

Cool, we have a bosch dishwasher and I had to move it from a former house....What a great washer.....What model did you get in your mixer.....My kitchenaid I'm afraid is stripping gears and is to soon be a goner.

I got the Bosch Universal Mixer, we did not get the blender with it because we have a vitamix. Our hand me down kitchen aid was not cutting it anymore since we started making our bread. I am able to make enough dough for five loaves in the Bosch.

When you go to replace your Kitchen-Aid I would highly suggest getting the Bosch, it may be $400, but it will last many, many years!!! I got mine at Everything Kitchens with no tax and free shipping. http://www.everythingkitchens.com/

Me and my cookbooks and some kitchentools are the only krauts allowed in our house. Yes i call myself a kraut. Bosch mixers are great, but mine became useless when i got here, it had 220V. Hold on my Wienerdog is technicially a german too.

I love my Bosch too!!!! I have the grain grinder and the oat roller, with the hand crank option as well.

Mmmm Bosch.

LOL Conny, you didn't remember to leave the 220? I gave most of mine away when we left.
I say most because this Christmas as we were getting the lights out to decorate the tree... low and behold I have to buy new lights as we had forgotten we had 220 lights! So now I get to pay way to much to send these to Oma. I am still waiting for her to write down her recipes.
