In need of answer on this guinea

i have come home and find this guinea eating the chicken food, and now is roosting up at the tree by the house. but i would like to know if this is female or male. please help. kim

It looks to me like it might be a female. The only way to tell is its voice. The female has a 2 syllable call. Puckcack puckcack. The male can only go chat chat chat

I have raised hundreds of guineas an this looks like a male.. If they have small helments or horn on there head an small waddles it is a female.And guineas eat with the chickens an you will have to train them to roost in the hen house.

Looks like a female to me as well...wattles don't look that big in the pic! Have you gone to check and see where it decided to roost for the night?
