In need of new hen in Portland Oregon

We have had a happy brood of two chickens for the last four years. They have been inseparable friends. Just this week one of them appears to have a stroke, and we have removed her from the coop to keep her in isolation and see if she gets better. Fearing the worst since they are both five, we are seeking another hen to introduce to our single hen in the coop to counter any loneliness/anxiety she may be feeling from her friend being removed. It is the off season so we are not sure how to locate another hen. Have tried searching craigslist but found no postings so we thought maybe someone who reads this thread may be able to offer help.

I'm in Oregon but all I have is my 6 month old chicks and like you my last two hens from seven years ago. I would call around and ask neighbors and friends in your area where you could locate a Hen. So sorry about your girl.
