In Need of specifics.

So, this was my favorite rooster who died a couple months ago. I’ve spent roughly around at least 3-4 days a week every week trying to find out exactly what breed he was, but I can’t find anything. So I thought I’d ask for help here. Here’s some pictures.

I don't think he was a purebred, probably a mixed breed. Possibly something like Ancona mix.

I'm no authority, but he looked like a Blue Isbar. That feather pattern on his neck and chest is so unique.

So sorry for your loss. Roosters are so awesome...I lost my Barred Rock in January. I still miss him very much. Your roo was just beautiful!

Oh wow jem you’re right, he totally looks like he could be a mix of one of those. We just thought he was a gamecock because the person who gave him to my wife said he was a gamecock.

That sucks about your barred rock though, we have 3, 2 babies who are the other one’s offspring. I actually saw my boy right before he got taken.
