This is my first post, but I’ve been following BYC ever since I started my flock in May 2023. My heart was recently broken over the loss of my Jumbo Pekin. She passed suddenly and left a huge hole in my heart. She was my little buddy and we got quite close as she always required extra assistance. When my other ducks would fly down to our grass courtyard, I had to “airlift” my JP because she was unable to navigate the terrain down to the grass. She will always have a piece of my heart 
I’ve decided I need to distract myself and expand my flock. That is the best medicine for duck mamas, right? I’m looking for runner hens (pereferably fawn) in San Diego. I would take a duckling, but a mature hen would do as well! I currently have one Black Swedish drake, a buff hen, and a khaki Campbell hen. I need one more lady for my drake to keep everyone healthy and happy. Please let me know if you have a hen you’re willing to part with or ducklings you’re ready to sell! I’d be open to taking in two, though I can’t take any more than that. Thanks in advance!
