Inaccurate Incubator help

We just started including quail eggs and noticed the incubator started fluctuating temperatures. We ordered a newer recommended one that will arrive tomorrow. The eggs are only on day 1 should we stop the incubator now and just set them up in the new one or let them stay until the new one arrives tomorrow?

How large are the temperature swings? And for how long?

How large are the temperature swings? And for how long?

A degree or so. The middle sometimes gets to 36.5 while the ends as high as 38.7 i think is the most I've seen. I don't think they last super long since it's a very small incubator i got for quail eggs. It holds maybe 24 or so quail
