Including your new babies - how many chickens do you have?

We are new and have our 4 chicks. We are adding 4 more and taking it slow to see what we still have to learn

5. I used to have like 20. Now I'm down to 3 8 month old bantam mottled cochins and today I got 2 6 weeks old white silkies.

Currently like 48 and 42 hopefuls in the bators

About 69, but I'm not sure because I have yet to count out all my true Araucana chicks. . . I ordered the 20 minimum, but I think he sent me 30.

Eventually it will grow as we still have eggs in the bator, more eggs to arrive after that, and. . . It will stop for a while until we start receiving more Marans or true Ameraucanas, or hatching chicks under broody hens.

and a mama (one of my laying hens) with 4 new babies!!
