Incorrect humidity

I've got a brand new HHD 32s. The humudity reading will not go above 30%, I know it is higher as condesation is forming inside on the top plastic cover.
Does anyone know how to make this read the correct humidity.

Do the instructions say how to calibrate it?
I recommend an additional hygrometer or better yet, weigh the eggs to verify 17% weight loss over 21 days.
