Tomorrow is day 10 of incubating for my 6 shipped eggs. I have 5 lavender Orpington & 1 mixed egg. The only one showing any development is the mixed egg which is upsetting bc I am really wanting the Orpington to hatch. But I'm still glad I know I'm doing something right if at least one is developing. All the orpingtons look empty, I can't see veins or anything & so far no blood ring is visible. What does an empty egg mean at this stage? Does that mean that none are going to develop at all? I know shipped eggs are risky but they were the only way for me to get the lavenders I'm wanting. This is also my second batch of Orpington eggs I have incubated. They are from two different sellers and none of the others made it either. Please someone tell me what is going wrong with these lavender eggs!

I had tons of trouble with shipped eggs sometimes they xray them and that can kill the embryo even before you incubate. Other times they are just handled roughly and then won't develop after that. Even perfectly fertile eggs can arrive too badly damaged to grow in the incubator.

Usually clear eggs at 10 days means that they aren't developing. Sorry that you are having a rough hatch.

She had put on box don't x ray live embryos & fragile. Most air cells were still pretty good. Idk I'm about to give up incubating. But thanks for replying.
