Hi all

I'm doing my 3rd attempt of incubating this year, my 1st went terrible wrong-full of quitters

my 2nd-put 12eggs in and 2 hatched last week, gutted!!! 6 if them was moving at day 18 but nothing from 4 of them. Wasn't going to do any more but a hen went broody so, yep I brought lots more eggs. 6 under the broody and 12 in the bator. Did a candle today and all 18 so signs of fertility. Got really good blood veins. I'm so pleased. But not getting to excited as things may change.
Just thought I'd share

I had a broody in a penfull, but as soon as the eggs pipped, I kicked everybody out. She is now the proud mommy of 5 ducklings! I wasn't sure a chicken would raise ducks, but she is doing a fantastic job! SOO CUTE!!
