Hi everyone! It's been awhile we just moved to Iowa so we have been extremely busy over the past few months. I have a question about our new place that has a big 30x62 barn. Inside there is a small 10x10 heated room that I was considering using as my incubating and brooder room until my new poultry shed is built this spring. The problem is there is a generator in there that when it kicks on, it can be pretty loud. At our old house I always used the guest bedroom for incubating and our sunroom for brooding so the only noise was from my kids/dogs on the other side of the door. I'm not exactly sure how ducklings will do around a noisy generator. Do you think the noise from the generator would be a problem? I was trying to avoid the ducklings in the house this year, but we also have a big heated garage or an empty basement I can use if I need to. Thanks!
