Hello, I am currently incubating my first batch of call ducks.
I started with three and one has made it to day 26.
On day 24 it was wriggling around in the egg but when I went to check for internal pips today there was no movement whatsoever.
The veins also look less red, but I think there may be a faint movement maybe like a heartbeat but Im unsure and it may have been the light slightly moving.
The egg has been incubating vertically as it was shipped and had a saddled airsac but I read that calls hatch better horizontally so I lay the egg down horizontally a few days ago for lockdown (it is not detached).

Humidity it around 65%-68%, and has been 50-55% during incubation, the airsac is quite large but I think that may be due to it being saddled on one side, it doesn't droop down at all on the other side.

Temperature has been 37.5 and I have lowered it slightly to 37.2 and was planning on lowering it more when there is an internal pip.
I have also misted it and left it out between day 10-23 and have been turning it 3 times a day until lockdown.

I have read that calls hatch at day 26 so has mine died or is it just sleeping as I've heard ducks also sleep a lot in their egg? how long should I give it?
the egg is showing no signs of bacterial infection and smells fine.

So is it normal not to see movement on day 26 for some? I saw quite a lot of movement all the other times I candled it (day 10, 14, 20, 23)
