I have some goose eggs as well as some chicken eggs I would like to place in my Brinsea OCT 20 bator. I would put them all in at the same time but would like to know what temp, humidity to keep it at for days 1-18 and then the lockdown period for the chicken eggs that will also be ok for my goose eggs and then what humidity should I keep the goose eggs at after I take the chickens out... New to incubating and especially goose eggs, so please explain it like you r explaining to a child... Also I usually weigh my chicken eggs every 4 days to make sure they are loosing weight prperly and so how would I calculate the weight of the eggs when I want to weigh the goose eggs to and they are supose to loose more than the chicken eggs???? Again explain like I'm a baby... Thanks

I just set 4 goose eggs along with 20 chicken eggs in R-com suro. I just set humidity at 50% (goose eggs need higher humidity than chickens).
I will move all chicken eggs for lockdown at day 18 (to my new genesis 1588) and will leave goose eggs in R-com.
When it is day 25, I will move goose eggs to genesis for lockdown.
I am not comfortable to lockdown chicken eggs while goose eggs are not ready to hatch yet. That's just me, I paid almost $100 for these goose eggs

Do you spritz and cool your goose eggs starting at day four until hatch??? How do you do that so that it doesn't hurt the chicken eggs???
