I need your guys’s help… I am incubating fertilized chicken eggs starting on July 16th (this Tuesday). I have a 3 hour car ride that I will be taking my incubator full of eggs on July 19th (this Friday). I have a power source that will keep the incubator running for the whole car ride. I am scared that they will get damaged from rolling around and the bumpiness. Is there anything I can do to keep them safe during the three hours? I’m desperate for suggestions/tips!

Any particular reason you have to take them with you? I'd be worried with all the movement in such early embryonic development. If these are fresh eggs rather than shipped eggs maybe wait a few more days and start them the day after your get to where you are going?

I think your best bet is to try placing them fat side up in egg cartons if they will fit inside the incubator during the drive. Maybe even place some paper towels to further cushion them and keep them from wiggling. Make sure the incubator is stored in the most stable area of the vehicle.

I have to take them with me because nobody will be able to fill up the water chamber for humidity and I will be gone for 3 full days not including the road trip days there and back
