OK so in the near future i was going to incubate about 3 eggs, I know i know that they probably wont hatch because its only 3 eggs but still i just wanted to give it a shot. I'm pretty sure its a hovabator which a lot of you guys don't like, but thats all i got..im borrowing it from a friend that hatched out a batch of chicks that all did fine. getting to the point my Welsh Harlequins started to lay and they are on about their 7th egg just about, two a day! Well im going to wait until they are laying good quality eggs, but i wont be getting the bator until a little so it should work out. I want to know the basics, I know other people have posted this but i just want it direct in my situation.

What should the humidity be throughout the incubation process(excluding lock down)
What should the temperature be(excluding lock down)
Do I have to let the eggs rest a room temp?
Do I need to stand the eggs narrow side up? or can I just leave them how they are?
What day do i put the eggs on lock down?
Any tips about the hovabator? I can't get any other incubator so i got to work with what I got.
During lock down what do I need to change about the humidity and temp?
Any other info I might want/need to know PLEASE share it!! Thanks!!!!!!

Can i turn 3 times a day? I have school so like in the morning turn then when i get home from school and right before i go to bed? How do i turn them? Like put and X on 2 opposing sides and then have an X facing up turn it to a blank side in the morning turn it to an x in the afternoon and then turn it to a blank side again? and then to an X and so on?

Yep, you can turn 3 times a day. 1 when you get up, 1 when you get back from school and 1 before you go to bed. Thats what I do.

Put a X on 1 side and a O on the other. I turn mine so that <) <== thats an egg BTW

so go from <X) to (O> to <X)..3 times a day then the next day <O) (X> <O)....how is that for pictures

A hova is too big for just three eggs- temp stability with it being pretty much empty is generally not good- so to help stop wide flucuations in temp you can do two things- 1. fill a bottle of water which will assist keepin the temp - 2. buy some infertile chicken eggs from the supermarket and put them in with you duck eggs- swapping them over at least once during the incubaation.

Well i would hatch more duck eggs but im afraid i wont be able to sell them or at that be aloud to, maybe o could put like 2 water bottles in with them filled with water and then make kind of a barrier so tue eggs dont roll around to much...

. I dont know what im going to do, i wanna hatch a few eggs put dont wabt to create a problem or make it too hard on me..

How many ducks do you have laying. Cant you save up a weeks worth then put them in to fill the space a bit more. You could always advertise them on Craigs list to sell them
