Incubating Eggs

Hello Everyone, I have eggs in the incubator but it always read about 96-97 degrees isn't that to low? They are new incubators. The last time I incubated eggs i had to rap the outside with towels because i thought my room wasn't warm enough so this time i moved to a warmer room. And it still reads that temp? Should it be that temp. or higher?

Couldn't you just turn up the heater in the incubator?

I will try that to see if it works. I was going by the book on setting the temp

Do you have a separate thermometer you can check against?

i do have a separate thermometer inside the incubator

How long have they been in there? Are you able to candle them to see if you have any development?

Maybe you accidently turned down the temperature. If you still need help with it, let the people know what kind of an incubator you are using.

And if you have a meat thermometer for cooking, test the temp with that.
