Hi all I'm looking for some advice on incubator temperature and humidity when incubating embden goose eggs can anyone please help me. I've found varying information online and would rather get advice from someone who's done it themselves. Tia
I incubate Pilgrim eggs each season, and I set my (forced air) incubator at 99.5F and keep humidity low - around 30% on average - because I live in a fairly humid area and the eggs will lose the correct amount of moisture. Optimal humidity for your eggs may be different, so you may want to weigh them throughout incubation to ensure that they're losing the right amount of weight (and so you can adjust the humidity as needed).
If you haven't already reviewed it, this hatching guide by Pete55 is a helpful resource, and he addresses the target weight loss % for goose eggs during incubation.
