I have 11 guinea eggs in incubator we are on day 27 locked down on day 25, but nothing his happening yet, how long after lockdown does it take for movement and pipping to start?, first time doing guinea eggs, really hoping for a good turn out.

External pipping usually starts within 24 hours of internal pipping.

Is it to late to candle with them in lockdown?
Watch out for any external pips. Don't keep the incubator open any longer than necessary and go ahead and candle them.

I have had a guinea egg hatch as early as 25 days and as late as 28 days. Internal pips can be as early as day 24 and as late as day 27.
