I have had my chickens for a year, and want to hatch some eggs! How do I do it without an incubator?

Hope one of your girls goes broody. Good luck

Letting a hen set on the eggs is one way. All you need to hatch eggs is something that will hold a steady 100* temp. for 21 days, It also must hold about 45% humidity for 18 days then bump up to about 70% humidity for 3-4 days. The eggs also need moved around 3-5 times a day.

Incubators are just the most effective way for us humans to mimic the conditions under a setting hen.
