Incubating in an egg carton?

I've seen the pics...cut out the bottoms for air flow...I know they go pointy side down...but here is the question...how do you turn them?
 
I'm using the dozen carton with 3/4 inch pvc tubes under them. I got the idea from someone on this forum. Or you can prop up the side of the incubator with a book. Good Luck
 
I built a turner - its basically a board that rotates like a teeter totter. Just give a twist from the outside.

You can keep it as simple as placing a block of wood under one side of the carton & then switch to the other side. Doesn't have to be complicated.
 
My incubator is turned by the auto-turner cradle, so there's no individual turning of any egg. They all get turned at the same time. Cut down egg cartons are perfect for that reason.
