Hi, when do king quail hatch and what day should i stop turning the eggs?

Hi Josh!
I am not 100% sure but I think they hatch in 18 - 19 days.
I would think it would be best to stop turning at about day 15 or 16.


Do you have some in your incubator now?

King quail are Chinese Painted Quail, commonly called Button Quail in the US. When I hatch them they usually hatch on day 17, so I stop turning on day 14. They can hatch on day 16 though, so you may want to stop turning on day 13.
