Question ladies and gentlemen, what chickens are broody and what chickens are not? I have 2 sex links, 2 Rhode island reds, and 5 barred rock... what chickens are broody and what chickens are not so i know what eggs to incubate when the time comes...

If I were to guess, the bar rocks and RIR hens would be your best bet for broodies. Bar Rocks more so than RIR

Are they hatchery birds or heritage?
Heritage are your best bet for broodies. Hatchery birds very rarely go broody, it's been bred out of them.
Yours might never go broody. Even Cochins or Silkies will sometimes never go broody. It's all about the hormones.
