Ok folks I have my eggs in my homemade incubator!!!!! The heat sorce is a 90Watt light bulb the container size is a 10 gallon storage container!!!!! Now my temp is staying about 100-102.4 and my humidty is anywhere from 36-47 don't know why the strange interval!!! Will this environment work???/ Thank you all!!!

Do you have a fan to circulate the air? If not, you will have hot and cold spots. As for temp, 102 is a bit high. I would try to get it down to 99-101. Your humidity is just fine. If you start out with good local fertile eggs, I am sure you will have a good hatch.

Thank you so much for the reply!!! I don't have a fan in the incubator but I moved the eggs and thermometer around until I got a stable 99.7 degree temp :-). As for fertile eggs I got them :P I bought what I thought was 3 hens and turned out one of them was a amberlink roo :-)
