Incubation day 4

I have candled my eggs this evening and I am unable to see anything. Should I be able to see anything or is it to early to tell???

I usually can't see any veins until day 5 maybe 6-7 if really dark brown or olive eggs

I usually don't candle until a week in. White eggs show about day five. Green eggs I don't bother candling because my flashlight isn't going to show anything until at least twelve days in.

Occasionally, you can see a faint change in color, a bit of a reddish or pink hue. But, you really won't see anything definitive until day 7.

I could tell on my duck eggs at day 3 by seeing a little dot swimming around when I moved the egg under candling.

I saw something moving about but I just thought it was the yoke
