I have 30 eggs in my incubator. Half of them are from a teacher at my school and she want to know the results of the hatch. (Don't want to disappoint her!) I just got the incubator and automatic egg turner. The thermometer that came with it was about 2 degrees high. So I put the temp at 102. Is that ok. Also I think I put too much water in the first day because the hygrometer said 65%. I sucked up some of the water with a syringe and lowered it to around 38%. Today is day 2. Just want to make sure I am still good.
Thanks

What kind of incubator are you using? Still air need to be around 102, forced air need to be at 100...

With your thermometer that means you'd raise temp to 104F measuring at top of eggs. Still airs vary greatly in temperature from bottom to top, it's been found that 102 at top of egg level is best. As for humidity I like 35-40% then 55-60% after 18 days.

K, so raise the temp a little keep humidity. Got it thanks
