Incubation periods

Is the incubation time for a chicken a full 21 days or 20 days and on the 21st they hatch?

What I mean is, If I put 10 eggs in at noon day 1 will they hatch around midnight day 21? Or will they hatch anytime during day 21?

Generally the 21 day is the hatch day but some breeds will hatch out a little earlier than others and some will hatch out a little late. So 18 days of turning, 3 days of non turning and generally for us day 20 to day 22 is hatchout time, but I have had some hatch as late as day 23 and day 24! Good luck!~
