I recently set a few of my purple pea fowl eggs. I didn't disturb them more than I had to. Opened the unit up only to candle on the 9th and 18th day. My temperature appeared to stay steady at 99.9 degrees and humidity held around 50 percent. ( forgot to mention I had a duck egg in as well) All looked good until the 28th day. 2 hatched. I could tell from my canceling chart that something went wrong one week prior to placing them in the hatcher. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?

Hi Bruce and welcome to BYC. The folks on this forum would likely be best placed to make suggestions - https://www.backyardchickens.com/forums/peafowl.51/

I've had this set up for a couple of years and have successfully hatched quite a few chickens and pea fowl. This is the first year that I'm incubating our own eggs though. The first pic is out Sir Winston, srcond is the mom,,Lucky.
