What do you consider acceptable temperature fluctuations for the regular heating cycle in an incubator? Is it better to run a bit high or is it better to run low? My diy incubator is currently running 99.6 to 100.4
I am currently setting goose eggs with a target temp of 99.5

The temps can fluctuate .5 higher or lower without any issues. Any higher or lower than that can start affecting the development rate, whether slower or faster, and could possibly cause defects.

If it were me, I'd go lower a tad.

Thanks for your input, greatly appreciated
