incubation times for smaller game birds

Hi I'm new to raising chickens. I have 12 bantys in my DIY incubator. Everything has been going very well. All 12 are doing great and it is day 17 . My question is.... Does the incubation period vary any between breeds or different breed sizes? So... I thought I would start this thread to see what people with a lot more experience, than I have, had to say about it. Thanks for your input.

Technically, chicken eggs (despite breed) are tagged with a 21 day gestation period. With that being said, it is common for your bantams to hatch a day or two earlier. Of course there are other factors that will come into play as to what day the eggs will hatch such as temps.

My Silkie eggs never hatch early, despite my hoping they will, they're always around day 21. If it is early, its usually the day before.

My last hatch had 2 silkies. they pipped day 19 and hatched day 20.... of course more than half of my hatch did....lol
