Incubator as a indoor greenhouse?

For hatching eggs you need, controlled temperture, humidity, light (for the tempreture), and rotation. For a greenhouse you need controlled temperture, humidity, and light.

I should be able to use my incubater (considering that it is going to sit for the next several years) as a small greenhouse to get my plants an early start

Has anybody else done this?
 
I think Wingshadows uses hers a a sprouter... She starts all of her seed in it. It's great for that, but height becomes an issue when growing. Good luck!

After a failed hatch last year I used my coolerbator for a greenhouse. I put potting soil into egg cartons, lowered the temps to 80, and added seeds. It worked real good, I left the hygrometer/thermometer in it and the humidity rose to 90% before I ever watered the seeds.
