Incubator build

your question is too general to answer what exactly do you want to know
ie. an old fridge is a good idea and has a good insulation little difficult to install a glass window (unless you are very skill) it is easier on a wooden box
wooden box you build dimensions on demand
fridge you have to stick on the inside dimensions that limit you

all the above are pure theory as you do not define what exactly you want to know on building an incubator

We are hoping to build an incubator out of either an old fridge, or a wooden box. Any ideas/ suggestions? Thanks!

Your Main question is How Many?

How many eggs do you expect to incubate?

Most starters would never build a cabinet incubator. Most starters would go for a table top wooden box.

Those are what I recommend. A wooden box that can hold a Little Giant egg turner.

A fridge is nice, they are very well insulated, and have a Great door seal.

Most people use light bulbs for their homemade incubator, but you can use SO many different things as heating elements.

If/When you decide to build an incubator, PM me and I'll help you.
