Incubator doesnt have a humidy button on

Hey guys this mite be a silly question but basically i borrowes an incubator that has settings to change humidy i had to give that back now and brought a little cheap one this one has temp settings but nothing to increse humidy my brahma eggs gone on lock down today due on sat normally id up humidy but i cant on this inc?
Any advice be greatly appreciated

The more surface area of water the higher the humidity will get.... if you can put a sponge or cloth in the water so it can draw up the water it will bring the humidity up. It will be harder to control tho.

I have been using an incubator like that and it does not makes that big of a difference you will be fine without a control button

Do you have a hygrometer? You should always have 1 or 2 when incubating. Put them in the bator and see what the humidity is like. Then go from there with adding water or wet towels, don’t just guess as you could lose an entire batch from drowning.
