Incubator fan question

This is a bit late, but I have to ask: Should the fan in an LG incubator be blowing DOWN on the eggs or UP against the roof?

I would think across the eggs would be better.

I woudl have thought so too, but now that they are hatching, it seems like the air is blowing the chicks dry too fast and they are sticking.
I've turned off the fan. It may help us keep the humidity up too.

I think it is suppose to blow on the roof so it pulls fresh air from the holes in the bottom of the incubator.
