ive hatched out a number of chicks over the past few years using my RCOM incubator that holds 3 chicken eggs.. ive only ever managed to hatch out cockerals. i live in the city so i try to limit my cockerals to only having one as the neibours may get annoyed. do u think that the humidity or any other factors in the incubator influence the gender of the chicks? its very annoying as id love to keep all my chicks and get some eggs off them. But this is impossible as im only producing cockerals.. i think im just extremely unlucky!!

I have read here on BYC that sometimes hiigher temperatures in incubators favor only the males surviving. I think you need a digital thermometer and keep an eye on your temps. I have heard it helps to put the 3 egg inside a larger styrofoam box, with holes, to help it keep temps better.
