Incubator lid fell off day 21

My cat knocked the incubator lid off we are at day 21 with polish eggs no pipping I’m a bit worried because the incubator doesn’t read the humidity so that was already going to be a problem how do I know if they are ok

1.try to boost the humidity back up if you haven't already
2.you could candle the eggs

I’m not sure how long it was off for I quickly checked one egg in warm water there was movement in that one egg but didn’t want to leave them out any longer to check the rest
I’m not sure how to go about the humidity as it doesn’t have a humidity count on this machine

I would just put the lid back on and not stress about it. Fastest and easiest way to bump humidity in an incubator is to lightly mist the eggs and lid with warm water and close the lid. Then close the door so the cat can't mess with it again.

you might want to get a humidity gage and I'm not really sure what to do with the rest hopefully MC will

As long as there was no external pip the humidity being lower wouldn’t cause hatching issues
I don’t even boost mine up till I see an internal pip and that’s only so it’s up and ready for the external pip when it happens

That makes me feel much better
My cat has been cute sitting on eggs so when I found she knocked the lid I assumed she was trying to do the same thing but being my first hatch it worried me

My huskily was sitting on an egg my ducks laid outside this summer
I was laughing at how careful she was while trying to lay on it
Your cat may have heard the chicks peeping from the egg
Possibly any with an internal pip ?
