so we took a chick out last night and the lid was left cracked on accident. The temp of incubator was 92.7 this morning when we noticed it. Are the eggs still okay and will they finish hatching?

The temperature will go back up. However, don't do it again. Eggs are also hotter and cool down slower than outside temps. People have successfully hatched eggs after power outages of up to 24 hours so you're good.

Agreed! Just make sure you keep your humidity up in there. Since they are hatching, them getting shrink wrapped would be the big concern If they already externally pipped. Are the eggs rocking that you can see or cheeping that you can hear if you had a clear top to see through ? Don't open it to check :)

Cooler is far better than too hot. Are other eggs in the process of hatching right now ? I would have more concerns regarding low humidity than low temps.
None have starting peeping yet since last one hatched yesterday. Humidity is at 47 percent right now. I have a hard time getting it any higher. I have a little giant foam incubator

You can add some damp sponges in there to increase humidy...or small wash cloth if you don't have sponges. You should be ok if there is no external pip I would think....keep us updated on the hatch! And how's the new little one doing?

I have 5 that has hatched so far there all doing great. Was just worried about others

Congrats!!!! More should be on the way! The waiting is so hard sometimes! Where I live we have little humidity in the Winter so I also have a hard time keeping humidity up . I have a Styrofoam hovabator. I try to keep it at least at 60 during hatching. If you can...post pics of your fluffy butts...those of us suffering from hatching withdrawal LOVE to see them:D
