I have a KC Duck unsure if she will sit on her eggs? Should I let her try or grab them and incubate them? What should I watch for?

Thanks

KC's don't usually sit. They're bred to lay a lot, but they don't go broody often. I would take her eggs and put them in an incubator.

Probably incubator just had a duck go broody she's stealing the chicken eggs for it, I think if she ever goes broody she'll do it on her own you can try to encourage it but the odds are slim

Thank you. So in a month or so should I gather eggs?

My KC is crazy broody. She seems to get broody on a nest like once a month. Hard to break her too, she will sit on the empty nest if we collect the eggs. I don't have a drake or I'd let her hatch out some babies.

Hanna I hope she sits on the eggs. I've never seen her sit once. Thanks
