incubator prices

Not much information to go on here..

does it have an auto turner?

does it have a fan?

does it have a wafer ? or a solid state thermostat?

If it does not have any of the above and only a wafer thermostat, it is on the high end of used price for this area of the country..(me)

If you do not have any bator at all, then it is worth more than if you already had one.. does that make sense?

I ran into something like that on craigslist here....it was a Little Giant Still Air for $40. You can buy one new at Tractor Supply for 41.99$

Do a quick search on bators to see the price per brand and features. Then when you call/e-mail the person you can be informed about what's too high etc. I've bought most of my bators through Home and Barn Basics (they are a site sponsor here too, so if you use the code byc5 you get a 5% discount)

Great customer service and fast shipping! I've had wonderful luck with them (no, I'm not affiliated with them in any way!

) But if you go to their site you can get an idea of what the prices can be. Though I don't think they carry LG's (Little Giant) Check Tractor supply dot com or E-bay too.

This is probably more info than what you were looking for, but hope it helps!

Thanks.
I didn't check it out closely because hatching eggs wasn't something I was thinking about doing.- Until DSO mentioned it. -curiousity filled the head. Again. This is how I ended up with a coop full. She said to her it looked like a styrofoam box with a thermometer on it. Hmmmmm. I guess it's reading time again!
