incubator question

I have 7 eggs in a bator. Today is day 18. On Tuesday, Sep. 8, it will be day 1. Do eggs need the FULL 21 days to form, so that
they'd actually hatch on day 0? Or, is it just a full 20+ days, so they will HATCH out on day 1?

Just wondering if we need to be home watching on day 1 (Sep. 8) or the NEXT day (day 0)?

If you set them on a Tuesday you should expect them to hatch 3 weeks later on a Tuesday. (That is 21 FULL days of incubation. You start count 24 hours after set.) With that being said, 21 days is an average and you can see hatching anywhere between day 19-22/23.
